Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

      1. TRANSCRIPT receives scripts to disseminate scientific research results from internal and external scientists that have not been published in other journals.
      2. The article's content may result from research, critical and complete scientific studies that are relevant and topical issues covered by the journal.
      3. Typewritten on A4 paper with margins: top 4 cm, left 3 cm, right 3 cm and bottom 3 cm. The manuscript is written in one line with a maximum length of 20 pages, formatted in one column. The article is written in Bookman Old Style 11 pt.
      4. The article's title must be informative, specific, concise and contain keywords that describe the content of the manuscript in its entirety with a maximum of 15 words. The article's title is in Bookman Old Style 11 pt, centred and bold.
      5. Authors' names are in Bookman Old Style 11 pt and bold, space 1, centred and bold with no title and should not be abbreviated.
      6. The corresponding author is written in Bookman Old Style 10 pt and centred.
      7. The abstract consists of one paragraph of 250 words written in Bookman Old Style 10 pt. The abstract is not in the form of a summary consisting of several paragraphs but consists of only 1 paragraph, which clearly, fully and completely describes the essence of the whole content of the letter, which describes the background (main topics), research goals, methods and results
      8. Keywords consist of a maximum of 5 words, separated by commas, for both English and Indonesian.
      9. Main headings are in capital letters (Bookman Old Style 12 pt)
      10. Subheadings are in capital letters (Bookman Old Style 12 pt) and without  numbering format
      11. Introduction: contains topics and objectives for the background research, review of the relevant literature, the problem under study (1520 % of the total length of the article)
      12. Research Methods: contains presentations in the form of paragraphs that contain the time and place of the research, design, research materials/topics, data collection methods/techniques, data, instruments and data analysis techniques (1015% of the total length of the article)
      13. Results and Discussion: This contains the analysis results that answer the research problem.
      14. Conclusions, suggestions and recommendations: presented in the form of a paragraph on the research results.
      15. The citation uses the main note or the endnote. Do not use the footnote.
      16. The bibliography contains the sources used as references in the study—reference sources of at least 80% of the literature published in the last 10 years. The references used are primary sources from academic journals or research reports (dissertations, dissertations). The bibliography is written alphabetically using Bookman Old Style 10 font, space 1, the special hanging indent of 0.25" to 12 pt. The rules of drafting the bibliography follow the rules of the 6th APA (American Psychological Association) as follows: (We recommend  the reference manager, ie. MendeleyZoteroEndNote)
