Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify parenting patterns in disturbed families and analyze factors that increase children's resilience. This research uses a qualitative approach and case study design to explore family experiences through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Research has shown that there are three main parenting styles: authoritarian, permissive, and democratic. Each of these styles has a different impact on a child's ability to cope with life's stresses. Authoritarian parenting tends to hinder children's resilience due to a lack of emotional support, while permissive parenting causes children to have difficulty making decisions and have problems with self-control. On the other hand, democratic education has the most positive impact because it encourages effective communication, balanced emotional support, and children's ability to handle emotions and conflict. In addition, external support from the community and family plays an important role in building children's resilience and helping them face life's challenges better. This study is an important contribution to the fields of family psychology and parenting, highlighting the importance of interventions focused on improving the quality of parenting and strengthening communities as additional sources of support. By implementing a supportive parenting approach, children from broken families will grow into resilient and strong individuals in life. These findings provide a basis for further, more comprehensive studies in various social and cultural contexts
