Efektivitas Konseling Kelompok Dengan Teknik Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy Untuk Mengatasi Perilaku Bullying Siswa
Abstract
Effectiveness of Group Counseling With Techniques Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy To Overcome Bullying Behavior Students Class VIII SMP N 11 Yogyakarta School Year 2017/2018. Essay. Yogyakarta. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. June 2018.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling with Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy techniques to overcome bullying behavior of VIII grade students of 11 Yogyakarta Middle School 2017/2018 Academic Year.
The population of this study were all eighth grade students of Yogyakarta State 11 Junior High School as many as 60 students. The sample in this research took 5 students by using purposive sampling technique. Methods of data collection in this study by using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using t-test test analysis.
The results showed that the proven hypothesis or group counseling with Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy techniques was effective enough to overcome bullying behavior of VIII grade students of 11 Yogyakarta Middle School 2017/2018 Academic Year. From the results of the t-test, it is known that the value of t = 17,963 with p value = 0,000 <0,05 means that giving treatment with the implementation of group counseling influences effectively enough to overcome student bullying behavior. It is expected that schools and teacher counseling guidance can implement group counseling services effectively so that they can overcome bullying behavior in students.
