This study examines the integration of pesantren local wisdom into Arabic language learning through an ethnolinguistic perspective to strengthen the character of Generation Z students at the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Institut Agama Islam Miftahul Ulum Pamekasan. The study aims to analyze the forms of pesantren ethnolinguistics, the process of integrating local wisdom into Arabic language learning, and its contribution to character development through Berger and Luckmann’s social construction theory. This research employed a qualitative case study approach involving the Head of the Study Program, Arabic language lecturers, and students selected purposively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model. The findings reveal that pesantren ethnolinguistics is integrated through linguistic symbols, pesantren traditions, learning materials, and academic interactions. The integration process develops systematically through the stages of externalization, objectivation, and internalization, resulting in the institutionalization of pesantren values within the academic culture. These values are subsequently internalized by students, strengthening religiosity, respect (ta'dzim), discipline, responsibility, collaboration, service (khidmah), and learning ethos. The study concludes that pesantren ethnolinguistics serves not only as a cultural approach to Arabic language learning but also as a social construction mechanism that connects language, culture, and character education in Islamic higher education
