About this Publishing System
MISOOL: Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar uses Open Journal Systems (OJS), an open-source journal management and publishing software developed and supported by the Public Knowledge Project under the GNU General Public License.
The corresponding author submits the manuscript through the OJS system.
The editorial team checks the manuscript structure and formatting based on Author Guidelines. Content quality is not assessed at this stage.
The Editor-in-Chief evaluates the manuscript’s relevance, originality, and suitability. Manuscripts may be rejected without review if deemed unsuitable.
The Editor-in-Chief assigns a Section Editor to manage the peer review process.
The Section Editor invites qualified reviewers. At least two reviewers are assigned under a double-blind review system.
Reviewers accept or decline invitations based on expertise, availability, and absence of conflicts of interest.
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript in depth, providing constructive feedback and recommendations (accept, revise, reject). The process typically takes around one month.
The editor assesses all reviewer reports. Additional reviewers may be invited if needed.
Authors receive the editorial decision along with reviewer comments and are required to revise the manuscript accordingly.
Accepted manuscripts proceed to publication. Rejected manuscripts include constructive feedback for improvement.
