The MISOOL journal supports the Crossmark Policy to maintain content integrity, transparency, and reliability of published scholarly works. Crossmark provides readers with a standardized mechanism to verify the current status of published articles, including information about corrections, updates, retractions, or other important changes related to the publication record. Authors, editors, and publishers are responsible for ensuring that all published content remains accurate, trustworthy, and appropriately updated when necessary. Any modifications to published articles must follow established publication ethics and editorial procedures. Through the implementation of Crossmark, the journal ensures that readers can access reliable information regarding the validity and status of published manuscripts. This policy supports academic accountability, improves research transparency, and strengthens confidence in the journal’s scientific publications.

The MISOOL journal applies a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism and is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ethical publishing standards. All submitted manuscripts must present original research, contain authentic scholarly contributions, and properly acknowledge all sources, ideas, data, quotations, and references used from previous works. Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are free from plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, and any form of academic misconduct. Before entering the peer-review process, all submissions will be screened using Turnitin or other plagiarism detection tools to evaluate similarity levels. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%, excluding legitimate references, quotations, and commonly used academic expressions. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned for revision or rejected according to the journal’s publication ethics policies.

The MISOOL journal implements a strict Withdrawal Policy to maintain the integrity, efficiency, and fairness of the academic publishing process. Authors are not permitted to withdraw submitted manuscripts without valid and justifiable reasons, such as ethical concerns, significant errors that cannot be corrected, or other circumstances approved by the editorial board. Any withdrawal request must be submitted formally by the corresponding author with a clear explanation and may require editorial approval. Manuscripts withdrawn after entering the peer-review process, after acceptance, or before publication may affect the journal’s workflow and resources. Therefore, unauthorized withdrawal at advanced stages of publication may result in penalties, restrictions on future submissions, or other editorial actions in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics and policies.

The MISOOL journal is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record by implementing a clear Correction Policy in accordance with international publishing standards, including practices commonly adopted by reputable Scopus-indexed journals. Corrections may be issued when errors, omissions, or inaccuracies are identified after publication that affect the understanding, interpretation, or reliability of the article. Depending on the nature of the correction, the journal may publish an erratum for errors introduced during the publication process, a corrigendum for author-related corrections, or an addendum for additional relevant information that improves the completeness of the article. All correction requests are carefully evaluated by the editorial board and, when necessary, reviewed by experts to ensure that amendments preserve the integrity of the published work. Corrections are linked to the original article to maintain transparency and proper academic records.

The MISOOL journal follows a strict Retraction Policy to protect the integrity, reliability, and credibility of the scholarly record in accordance with international publishing standards, including practices applied by reputable Scopus-indexed journals. An article may be retracted when substantial evidence indicates serious problems such as research misconduct, data fabrication, data falsification, plagiarism, unethical research practices, duplicate publication, or significant errors that invalidate the findings. Retraction decisions are made carefully by the editorial board based on thorough investigation, available evidence, and consultation with relevant experts when necessary. A retraction notice will clearly explain the reason for withdrawal and remain permanently linked to the original article to ensure transparency. Retraction does not remove the article from the academic record but serves as a mechanism to correct the literature and prevent misuse of unreliable information.
