This policy was developed in response to the growing prominence of generative AI and AI-based technologies (AI), which are expected to be increasingly utilized by authors and academic content creators. Generative AI refers to artificial intelligence systems capable of creating new content, such as text, images, or music, whereas AI-based technology encompasses a broader range of applications that use AI to analyze data, automate processes, and support decision-making. This policy aims to enhance transparency and provide guidance to authors, reviewers, and editors within the Journal of Quality Assurance in Islamic Education (JQAIE). JQAIE continuously monitors these developments and updates policies as necessary.
