CREAT also welcomes interdisciplinary, comparative, community-based, and context-sensitive studies that provide new insights into educational development and teaching practices.

CREAT is committed to providing immediate and open access to its published scholarly content. Open access supports the broad dissemination of academic knowledge and enables researchers, educators, students, practitioners, and the wider academic community to access research without unnecessary barriers.

Readers may access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and otherwise use published articles in accordance with the terms and conditions of the journal's applicable open access license. All research manuscripts submitted to CREATE are subject to an initial editorial and administrative assessment before entering the peer-review process. Manuscripts are evaluated for relevance to the journal's focus and scope, originality, scholarly contribution, methodological appropriateness, ethical considerations, and compliance with the journal's submission requirements.

Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment are normally evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process. CREATE recognizes the increasing use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in research, writing, analysis, teaching, and scholarly publishing. Authors are responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and accountability of their submitted work, regardless of whether technological or artificial intelligence tools have been used during the research or writing process.

The use of artificial intelligence tools should not replace human scholarly responsibility or authorship. Where disclosure is required, authors should transparently report the use of relevant artificial intelligence tools in accordance with the journal's AI Usage Policy. Reviewers and editors are also expected to use such technologies responsibly and to protect confidential manuscript information.

CREATE is committed to preserving the scholarly record and maintaining long-term access to its published content. The journal implements an archiving and digital preservation policy designed to reduce the risk of permanent content loss and to support the continuity of access to published scholarly materials.
